During a car accident, whiplash is very common.  This type of injury is the most common injury to the neck.  After whiplash occurs, many people don’t feel hurt immediately and so they don’t seek emergency medical treatment.  Whiplash is caused by a sudden movement of the head in any direction that results in damage to the supporting muscles, ligaments and other connective tissues in this area.
